This is includes a built-in T1/E1 port and a VIC/VWIC slot that can be fitted with either digital or analog/BRI voice/WAN interface cards. Supports a maximum of 90 channels of digital voice, or 30 channels of digital voice and four channels of analog voice in medium complexity codec. Must be used with up to four PVDM2 Packet Fax/Voice DSP modules.
